Find My Phone Pro ("we," "our," or "the App") values your trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Find My Phone Pro on supported platforms, including iOS and Android.

1. Information We Collect

Find My Phone Pro is primarily a phone finder and security tool that operates locally on your device. We only collect the information necessary to deliver and improve the service:

1.1 Microphone Access for Sound Detection

• The App uses your device's microphone to detect clapping and whistling sounds to help you find your phone;
• Sound detection is processed entirely on your device in real-time. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data from your microphone;
• Your security and alarm settings, including selected sound effects and sensitivity preferences;
• Optional configuration data such as alarm trigger settings and anti-theft mode preferences.

All sound detection and alarm features are processed locally on your device. We do not collect or upload any audio information to our servers.

1.2 Device and Diagnostics Data

• Anonymous crash reports and performance logs from services such as Firebase Crashlytics help us diagnose issues and improve stability;
• Aggregated analytics from tools like Google Analytics for Firebase or App Store Connect event reports may capture session counts, feature usage, or device models. These datasets do not identify you personally.

1.3 Advertising and Third Parties

• Ad-supported experiences may use networks such as Google AdMob to show ads. These services may access your device advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information to deliver and measure ads;
• If you purchase an ad-free or premium plan, ads will be removed for the duration of your subscription;
• Third-party SDKs operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their practices.

2. How We Use Information

We process information to:

• Enable essential features, such as clap and whistle detection, alarm triggering, anti-theft protection, and anti-touch security;
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;
• Analyze anonymized usage patterns to optimize sound detection algorithms and user experience;
• Serve and monitor advertisements where applicable;
• Meet legal obligations and protect against misuse.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Local Data: All your settings and preferences remain on your device. If you uninstall the App or reset your device, your settings may be deleted. You can reconfigure the App at any time.
• Cloud Features: If we later introduce cloud sync or backup, we will clearly describe what data is uploaded and how you can manage or delete it.
• Safeguards: We employ security practices such as encrypted transport (HTTPS) for any data transfers, system permission sandboxes, and restricted employee access to aggregated analytics.

4. Your Choices and Rights

• Manage Permissions: You can revoke microphone access, storage access, notifications, or other permissions in your device settings at any time. Note that microphone access is required for clap and whistle detection features.
• Data Access & Export: Your app settings are stored locally and can be adjusted within the App at any time.
• Deletion: Deleting the App removes all local settings and preferences. For future cloud services, we will provide in-app options to delete synced data.
• Personalized Ads: You can reset advertising IDs or limit ad tracking via system settings (e.g., iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising; Android Settings → Privacy → Ads).

5. Children's Privacy

Find My Phone Pro is intended for individuals aged 13 and older, or the minimum age permitted in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can remove it promptly.

6. International Use

If you access Find My Phone Pro from regions with different data protection laws, you consent to the processing of information in the jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. We strive to comply with applicable regulations, but local legal requirements may vary.

7. Policy Updates

We may revise this Privacy Policy to reflect product changes or legal requirements. We will notify you in-app or by other reasonable means if we make material updates. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
